"Savlon- Clean Bangladesh" Starts in University of Dhaka

“Savlon- Clean Bangladesh” has branched out to the highest educational institute of the country, the University of Dhaka. Yesterday, the 12th of April, a weeklong cleaning campaign was launched in the presence of Mr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, honorable Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka. Apart from students and teachers of the reputed institution, Mr. Md Quamrul Hassan, Business Director, Mr. Zaman Asif Ahmad, Head of Marketing, and Mr. Md Nahid Newaj, Deputy General Manager, Media & Communication were also present at the event with other members of ACI Consumer Brands.

More than 100 rover scout volunteers led by honorable VC & ACI personnel, conducted a procession starting from the Office of the Registrar to the center of the University, Raju Memorial Sculpture. The program was officially inaugurated there and cleaning activities were carried out around TSC.

This phase of Savlon Clean Bangladesh campaign was outlined keeping in mind the Bengali New Year as during this celebration, the campus is generally packed with thousands of people and naturally littering increases in the campus.

As part of the event, more cleaning activities will be carried out by Savlon in different parts of the campus after Pohela Boishakh to ensure a clean & germ-free campus.

With “Savlon – Clean Bangladesh”, Savlon aims to build awareness among people towards dumping waste in dustbins and inspiring them towards a germ-free Bangladesh.
