“Freedom Women’s Carnival” 2017 was held at Dhanmondi

International Women’s Day observing with the theme Be Bold For Change this year. To mark the day Freedom Sanitary Napkin has organized a Carnival named “Freedom Women’s Carnival” 2017 at Kalabagan Play Ground, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. More than five thousand female participants attended the event and this was one the biggest Women gathering organized by Freedom.
Students from leading Universities and Colleges joined the event. Professional Women from different sectors also attended the programme. Several interesting episode like Mehendi Utshab, Nagordola, Monkey Show, Karaoke, various Games made the Carnival very festive and memorable. Several interesting traditional foods of Dhaka had enhanced the glory of the event, at the same time fashion accessories stalls attracted a huge crowds
Melodious songs were performed by popular singers Kona and Kornia. DJ Sonika boosted up the audience with her gorgeous performance.
Eight luminous women were awarded in the occasion for their outstanding contribution in development of various fields in national level. The awardees were Irin Hoque Ivy owner of Fashion House Kayara, Shahanaj Parvin Nominee for Best Global Teacher’s Prize 2017, Nusrat Jahan Mukta ADC, DMP (North), Professor Shaikh Zinnat Ara Nasreen Head of the Department. Department of obstetrics and gynecology, ZH Sikder Women’s Medical College, Shajeda Sweety Senior Reporter ATN News, Jahanara Alam Captain of National Women’s Cricket Team, Nasrin Sultana Inspector, Lalbag fire station and Farnaz Alam Director Women’s World.
Managing Director of ACI Salt and Executive Director ACI Consumer Brands Mr. Syed Alamgir attended the Carnival as the Chief Guest, Md. Quamrul Hassan Business Director ACI Consumer Brands and other higher officials of ACI were also present at the event.
In the midst of the festivity, Freedom Sanitary Napkin was re-launched with a completely new and internationally sophisticated look. The product was made with advance feature like Odor Control Technology for the first time in Bangladesh.
