ACI receives The Best Enterprise of the Year Award for 2011
On 18 May 2012, it was iconic to have so many businessmen, corporate executives, academics and civil society members of the country at the business award ceremony organised by The Daily Star - the country's most-read English newspaper and DHL Express - the world's leading logistics company.
It was with great pride that the best companies and individuals with the greatest flair and integrity in running businesses were recognised and awarded according to various categories. According to The Daily Star – the Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed out the 12th Bangladesh Business Awards, regarded as the premier business award in the country, to six winners, including one posthumously, at a glittering gala event at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
The Best Enterprise of the Year award for 2011 was received by Advanced Chemical Industries, popularly known as ACI, which champions the quality of its products.
Mr. M Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman received the award on behalf of the company.
He also mentioned, "Our company has come this far as we - from the very beginning - have focused on making our employees more productive."
