ACI Agribusiness Received 1st Prize in 3rd International Conference and National Seed Fair 2012

ACI Agribusiness received 1st prize in the 3rd International Conference and National Seed Fair 2012 in Private Sector Category which was held on 8-11 February at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. It was jointly organized by Seed Science Society of Bangladesh and Ministry of Agriculture, People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Advocate Mostafizur Rahman, MP, State Minister, Ministry of Land was the Chief Guest at the inaugural sesssion. Special Guests were Kbd. Showkat Momen Shajahan, Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee, Ministry of Agriculture; Prof. Dr. M A Sattar Mondol, Member, Planning Commission and Chief Patron was Prof. Dr. M Rafiqul Hoque, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh Agricultural University. Key Note Speaker was Mr. Anowar Faruque, DG, Seed Wing, MoA and Guest of Honour was Executive Director, Agribusiness. Executive Director, Agribusiness presented a paper on "Seed Marketing in Bangladesh" which was highly appreciated. 

ACI Agribusiness also captured around 33% area of total seed fair with the help of strategic business units. Visitors were happy to see the new machineries of ACI Motors, Crop Protection chemicals of CC&PH, Animal Health Products, high value hybrid seed of different crops, live exhibits of ACI Seed marketed vegetable products, fertilizers, cropex and ACI Godrej products and promotional materials.
