Sonalika Tractor Launches Steal the Spotlight This Pohela Boishakh:Two new models introduced
This Pohela Boishakh, ACI Motors celebrated the Bengali New Year by taking a bold step in agricultural
innovation with the nationwide launch of two new Sonalika tractor models. The Sonalika 35RX and the
Sonalika All Rounder SS-55 (12F+3R) were introduced simultaneously across 15 different locations in
Bangladesh, with the main launch event held in Manikganj. In a remarkable display of trust and confidence
from customers, nearly 100 tractors were delivered on the very day of the launch—making it one of the
most impactful rollouts in ACI Motors’ history.
The event drew an impressive turnout of over 4,000 stakeholders, including farmers, dealers, customers,
and officials, all coming together to witness a milestone in agricultural advancement. Both new models
offer enhanced features tailored for the modern farmer. The Sonalika 35RX comes with power steering,
providing smoother handling and reducing operator fatigue during extended field operations. Meanwhile,
the Sonalika SS-55 All Rounder is equipped with a turbocharged engine and a high-low-medium gear
system, ensuring superior performance in heavy-duty applications and challenging terrains.
The celebration featured live demonstrations of the new tractors, giving participants a firsthand
experience of their performance and capabilities. These showcases were complemented by the vibrant
festivities of Pohela Boishakh, beautifully merging Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage with modern
agricultural technology. The event also displayed a variety of agricultural machinery—including
harvesters, transplanters, and irrigation pumps—alongside Foton commercial vehicles, tires, and Yamaha
motorcycles, reflecting ACI Motors’ comprehensive support for rural development.
Gracing the event was Mr. Subrata Ranjan Das, Deputy Managing Director of ACI Motors, along with
distinguished representatives from both the government and private sectors, adding significance and
