M Anis ud Dowla, Chairman of ACI Group of Companies has been elected the new president of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Dhaka for 2010. The newly elected president replaces Abdul Hafiz Choudhury, a senior partner (non-executive) of Rahman Rahman Huq, Chartered Accountants, a member firm of KPMG International, one of the top four accounting firms in the world. Previously, he held the MCCI for three terms in 1977, 1978 and 1995 and was the president of Bangladesh Employers’ Federation from 2003 to 2005. We congratulate him for his glorious achievement.
